Twin Pyramids and Sphinx in Zinder

The discovery of twin pyramids and a sphinx in Zinder, Niger has caught the attention of Egyptologists and pyramid experts around the world. This is the first English report of that discovery.

Here is Sanounou Ybrah's 3D reconstruction of the pyramid and sphinx showing the pyramid and sphinx in degradation state at Dan Baki in Zinder (Niger).

Alice C. Linsley

The discovery of a pyramid and a sphinx in Niger lends support to my theory of an African dominion from the time of Noah (B.C. 2490-2415). Kain, Seth and their wives were of the ruling houses of this ancient Proto-Saharan and Nilotic civilization, as were Lamech the Elder and his son-in-law Methuselah.

Dr. Clyde Winters refers to this as the "Proto-Saharan Civilization." The Proto-Saharans venerated cattle and left behind engraving of bulls and oxen with solar disc between their horns. This image was associated with Hathor-Meri, the virgin whose son was Horus. She was the patroness of South Arabian metal workers as has been shown by discoveries at Timna. A temple dedicated to Hathor was discovered at the southwestern edge of Mt. Timnah by Professor Beno Rothenberg of Hebrew University.

Abraham's Nilotic ancestors considered Horus the "Seed" of Ra because Hathor was said to conceive when she was overshadowed by the Sun. In the oldest known Messianic tradition the Son of God is born as a calf to Hathor who is portrayed as a sacred cow, and the birth took place in a stable with the Babe sleeping in a crib.

Hathor and Menkaure I
The oldest known site of Horus worship is the shrine city of Nekhen in Sudan. It dates to the time of the pyramid discovered by Nigerian Egyptologist Souley Garba, if Garba's dating is reliable.

Garba claims that the pyramid of Dan Baki is 4500 years old. It is in an advanced state of deterioration, but was not open when it was discovered by Garba.

Pyramid at Dan Baki

In February 2012, Garba announced his discovery of a pyramid in the village of Dan Baki, 20 km west of the city of Zinder and 2 km north of the village of Tirmini. Garba estimates that the yet unopened pyramid might contain more than 40,000 gold objects.

The Dan Baki pyramid has a twin nearby and appears to be part of a series of pyramids located in the region of Tanout. All the pyramids in the neighborhood appear to have remained sealed.

There is also a sphinx near the twin pyramids and Garba describes it has having a lion shape.

Mr. Garba reports that this discovery is the "result of our activities we have been carrying out over 7 years and with a private institute of the United States of America."

Garba explained that years of study of the hieroglyphic texts led him to the name of the village where he discovered the pyramid. He believes that the point of origin of humanity is in Niger. From there people spread into Chad, Nigeria, Sudan, Egypt, Yemen and Saudi Arabia. He has not attempted to explain the presence of more ancient monuments in Southern Africa, Turkey and China.

Study of the ancient hieroglyphic texts reveals a close affinity between Ancient Egyptian and Hausa. The names Tanout and Dar-Gaza constantly recur in the hieroglyphic texts that Garba studied. Ta-nout means "belongs to the sky." Dar-Gaza means "crown of God"  and refers to the sun. Gaza is a variant of Giza.

Hausa is in the Afro-Asiatic (or “Hamito-Semitic”) language group. This group includes Akkadian, Ancient Egyptian, Arabic, Aramaic, Amharic, Babylonian, Chadic, Ethiopic, Hahm/Jaba, Hebrew, Phoenician, Sumerian and Ugartic. The diversity of this group is amazing! Chadic alone has 600 dialects.

The pyramid builders of Zinder reflect a very ancient kingdom-building tradition among Abraham's Nilo-Saharan ancestors.

Here's another interesting fact: Niger has grown 200 million trees over the past two decades - the only country in Africa to have added forest cover in the period.

Please give us a link to this "Soule Garba". I personally want to meet him. And then, how do we verify this report?

Alice Linsley said...

There are at least 4 French reports on the WWW about this.

The verification is the first link above under Related Reading.

This discovery has been the hot topic of discussion at African forums since the end of February, but has received no coverage by the US press. Typical. The US media only covers Africa in cases of catastropes such as the Darfur War or the AIDS crisis.

I have no contact information for Soule Garba. He is Nigerian. He may have a Facebook account.

Thanks. This is awesome sensation to me

I am still interested in this awesome report. Please, Mrs Alice, could you please e-mail me at
rhemaoso2002@yahoo.com
whenever you get any more links on this report.
Also kindly help me get in touch with Mr. Marc Chartier who also is reporting this matter. I lost contact with him

Interesting. However, I am disturbed to find that Dr. Clyde Winters makes a very basic mistake in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAhQWeFRgOI. Basically, he says that Homer was Athenian, but the Athenians spoke Attic Greek, whereas Homer's poems are in Ionic Greek. This raises a question: If Dr. Winters can make such a fundamental error about one of the greatest poets in history, what other errors may be in his research?

The 9th century Greek alphabet was adapted from the Afro-Asiatic Phoenician letter forms. The majority of the letters of the Phoenician alphabet were adopted into Greek with much the same sounds as they had in Phoenician.

Fantastic! Dr. Winters is an amazing scholar and is not given enough credit in our eurocentric centers of higher education.

I love your candor and the fact that this information in no way creates a defiency of self-image in you,,,much information on the true origins of man, bible persons and Christ will begin to surface and break down many propagated lies that have stood in the euro-centric imagination for so long,,,,for even revelation 1:14,15 tells us that our Messiah was a dark black man with an afro,,,,,does such matter?,,,no,,,yet, all lies much exposed and corrected,,,the information in your article is just the beginning of a domino of corrections,,may the Most High show favor to you for your honesty and humility always,,,,

Discovery of 12,000-year-old Temple Complex Could Alter Theory of Human Development
http://www.eurasianet.org/departments/insight/articles/eav041708a.shtml
India too has had recent discoveries of very developed cities that are far older than 4,000 years. (modern sewage systems and hot and cold running water when Europeans were running around in animal skins and crawling with body lice.)

Alice Linsley said...

That is true. The temples of Harrapa and Paleolithic site at Gobleki Tepe (12,000 BC) have common characteristics with the oldest Saharan sites like Nekhen. This was the region into which the Proto-Saharans advanced well before Noah's time.

Alice Linsley said...

Thank you, Vera. I appreciate your encouragement and the blessing.

I am a very open mined fellow who happens to love this kind of stuff. Not sure about the need by some commenters to down play europeans. Very little data exists for much of the truly ancient world so hypothosis should be kept at that and not used as reverse racist tools as in some circles.

Alice Linsley said...

This is not about racism. Biblical Anthropologists have noted a blind spot among Anglo and European researchers when it comes to Africa.

I'm enjoying reading your blog. Just wanted to share something for futher research. The biblical character by the name of Noah didn't exist, per the Dogon of Burkina Faso. This name is a variant spelling of NWN the Kemetic name for the "Primordial WATERS" from which all that exists emerged.

The biblical Noah existed in history as did all the Proto-Saharan and Kushite rulers listed in the Genesis "begats." The historicity of these persons has been confirmed by analysis of the marriage and ascendancy pattern of these rulers. The analysis shows that we have an authentic kinship pattern. The ruler-priest endogamous pattern continued to the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70.

This photo of the pyramid in Zinder reminds me of the mastaba of Djoser at Saqqara. It may date to that period.

I'm curious to know how it is aligned. The pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Abusir are aligned to Heliopolis.

Thanks for this informative discovery. I have posted this on my FB page, and many other people are going to read this. If the US media refuses to show us this info, we can still find it for ourselves. Discoveries like these are part of the whole human history and it's a shame that bias and bigotry stand in the way of discovering who we all really are as people, our histories, cultures and contributions. Kudos!

Thanks, Dani.

The bible is symbolic anything written in the bible can not be taken literally. If that was the case it describes Mary as being pure and white as snow. Again symbolic or would online to pick and choose what you read

Please be careful with regards to the reports of Souley Garba. He is known in Niger to have been fascinated by egyptian mysticism, has not provided solid sources for his hyeroglyphic materials, and the pyramid he has discovered does not bear any striking difference from a natural rock formation in this area. He claims many remarkable things. Like for instance that the ground water basins in Niger are connected to the Nile and supplying it with water. Please verify what private institute he has been working with, and if there is any written report on this discovery before drawing any assumptions from this.

Anonymous 1 and 2 (same person?)

Please give your name. I usually delete comments by "anonymous" persons.

To Anonymous one, here is my response:

The birth of Jesus to the ruler-priest lines of Mary and Joseph was recognized by all the wise Men of that time, both friends and enemies. The Wise Men recognized His star and traveled far to bring Him gifts. They were sidereal astronomers who recognized the significance of the conjunction of the king planet (Jupiter) and the king star (Regulus) in the constellation associated to Judah.

Herod's attempt to kill the royal child confirms that his Wise Men knew the ancient prophesy concerning Messiah's birth place in the ancient Horite settlement of Bethlehem (1 Chronicles 4:4). Angels announced to the shepherd descendants of the Horites that the promise God made to their ancestors in Eden was fulfilled in that royal city.

Angels guided and protected the holy family because their lives were in danger. The newborn King of Israel was so great a threat to the government that He was safer in Egypt and more honored in Tyre than He ever was in Jerusalem.

The Biblical record concerning Jesus and the expectation of his Horite ancestors has been confirmed by anthropology, linguistics, DNA studies, migration studies and climate studies.

This Christmas consider the evidence for Jesus as the Promised One of old and spread the Good News of His coming in the flesh.

Anonymous 2,

This is a news report. Garba's interest in Egyptian mysticism is irrelevant to this report. It may have been helpful as understanding Ancient Egyptian mysticism helps us to understand the older layers of the Bible.

The Niger Basin and the Benue Trough were once connected to the Chadic Basin and to the Nile. See this:

The mounds are like those of a similar age built by the Kushan. See this:

When you said: "The 9th century Greek alphabet was adapted from the Afro-Asiatic Phoenician letter forms. The majority of the letters of the Phoenician alphabet were adopted into Greek with much the same sounds as they had in Phoenician." It's almost exact, but we can first add that Phoenician script himself inherits from Ancient Egyptian script, and second:
The "Afro-Asiatic" or "Hamito-Semitic" language goup is a scientific fraud, to simply detach Pharaonic Egypt from the rest of Africa. Since its invention in 1844 (more than 150 years - A century and half), "Afro-Asiatic" has never been scientifically reconstructed by the strict methodology of comparative linguistics, such as Indo-European. The Ancient Egyptian and Coptic are related to modern African languages that are not part of this fictitious group.

Alice Linsley said...

You are correct. "Afro-Asiatic" is a convenient label for an extremely large number of languages and dialects. How those languages are related is still being studied. The connections between ancient Egyptian, Mande, Ge'ez, Dravidian and Hausa however have been well established.

Alice, I noted a comment above about the Book of Revelation and a dscription of Christ. I do not care what his racial makeup is/was. However I do like to keep up with my Bible facts. The commenter mentioned Rev 1 14,15. I do not find any such reference about the racial make up of Christ. Do you know where such might appear?

Alice Linsley said...

Drummie, The concept of race is not support by molecular genetics or the Bible. For example, the common association of Africa with black skin and so-called Negroid features is a false association. From the very earliest times, peoples living in Africa hsd a wide range of physical appearances. Some were white, some red, some reddish brown, some brown, and some black. Some had lots of hair, other very little. Some had narrow noses and lips, others thick. Some had high brows, others low.

As far as Jesus' appearance, we can go only on what we know about his Horite ancestry. The Horites were apparenlty reddish to reddish brown. Since they married only within their Horite clans, this would not have changed significantly by Jesus' time. At least 2 of Jesus' ancestors are described as reddish: Esau and David.

Hello the link you gave about the
Niger pyramids took me
to an NBC story about
pyramids in the Sudan. Two
different countries seperated
by Chad. Have you heard
anything new about Niger
specifically?

Alice Linsley said...

I haven't heard any recent news. It may be that the Zinder pyramids are like that of the Bosnian pyramid. The Visocica hill that rises above the town of Visoko, near Sarajevo, appears to be a natural mound worked by humans. If this is the case with this twin pyramids of Zinder, it suggests that the Zinder pyramids are not as old as the pyramids of Giza, Zaqqara and Abusir.

Alice Linsley said...

I have learned that Garba describes the sphinx as having a lion shape, but he does not say whether it faces east or west. My guess is that it faces west and marks the western boundary of an ancient Proto-Saharan empire that extended from the Nile to Niger.
