Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself." Isaiah 44:24
I will be on the steps of the Kentucky capitol building tomorrow to pray for Mitch McConnell and other Kentucky legislators that their hearts will be convicted by the Holy Spirit to press for a thorough investigation of Planned Parenthood.
Let your state representative know that this "Planned Parenthood scandal" is not going to go away. They can no longer ignore the evil, and if they do, you will not vote for them again.
Please join me in prayer wherever you may be at 10:00 a.m. eastern time.

I saw McConnell's Nay vote on the defund bill. No way to explain that away as a smart political maneuver. That was a conviction vote. Shocking.
ReplyDeleteAs it happens I read this at 9:55 am. Suspiciously good timing.
I will join you in 5 minutes.
Dear Lord, please move the hearts of:
ReplyDelete- the senators to vote for defunding
- the president to act on his circumspection
- Pro-Life voters, to read and observe and vote with the same principals as You have used in the creation of the universe. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen.

Amen.
ReplyDeleteMy prayer partner and I have committed to hold Morning Prayer with special intercessions for the victims of abortion each month at the KY Capitol building. We will continue to pray for Mitch McConnell and his wife, and other legislators.
Corporate prayer is the way to do.
ReplyDeleteA couple of times I've 'camped out' a couple of times on the doorsteps (sort of) of John Boehner's office. Liberty group sort of stuff. He usually pretends to be interested and then votes the other way. That incenses the Liberty group, until of course the election.
Prayer is the way to go.
