Chisel from Herod's Foundation Wall

An astonishing archaeological discovery has been made at the foot of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Arutz Sheva news site reports. The find is an ancient chisel, which apparently was used by the builders of the Western Wall of the Second Temple.

This chisel may have been used to build the foundation for Herod's Temple. Herod's temple was patterned after ancient temples of his ancestors who were Edomites. In Genesis 36 they are called Horites and they were known in the ancient world for their wisdom. Seir was one of their great rulers. Herod was Idumean which is Edomite. He was related to the Horite rulers shown in the diagram below.
