The Pyramids of Bosnia

The Bosnian Pyramid Valley consists of the five pyramids.

According to Wikipedia everything is fabricated and a hoax and these pyramids are random hills. However, there is no doubt that the people living in the Visoko region were pyramid people. Here is a photo of a votive pyramid unearthed in Visoko. It dates to ca. 5th millenium BC. These were likely the ancestors of the Kushan who constructed similar pyramids in the Tarum Valley of China.

This tunnel is reinforced with timbers, but the original is very similar to the well-preserved fogou at Carn Euny in Cornwall, England. Genetic and linguistic studies indicate that ancient stone masons from Serbia migrated to South Western England.

There is little doubt that thousands of years ago rulers were building pyramids across the surface of the earth. The pyramids reflect a fairly sophisticated knowledge of astronomy and architecture. The Visocica hill that rises above the town of Visoko, near Sarajevo, appears to be a natural mound worked by humans probably no earlier than 5000 years ago.

Semir Osmanagic investigated the site in his homeland. "The hill was already there," he said. "Some ancient civilization just shaped it and then coated it with this primitive concrete -- and there you have a pyramid."

Ancient sites such as pyramids, tombs and fortresses often align with the cardinal points and open to the east and/or west. The alignments of many ancient sites appears to reflect knowledge of sidereal astronomy. Some sites align to the point of origin of the people who built them. Old Arabic is sometimes called "Dedanite" because that is where the largest concentration of old Arabic scripts has been found. The oldest mosques were aligned to a site in Dedan.

Ancient Nilotic rulers aligned their pyramids at Giza, Saqqara and Abusir to the obelisk at Heliopolis (Biblical Onn/Annu), the geodetic center of Egypt. The corners of most of the 4th - 6th dynasty pyramids are aligned to Heliopolis. The pyramid triads at Giza, Zaqqara and Abusir are examples. Baalbek in Lebanon, also called Heliopolis, aligns to the obelisk in Heliopolis, the City of the Sun.

Number Symbolism of Pyramids and Shrines

The number 72 represents the number of years it takes for the constellations to move one degree due to precession. The Great Pyramid and Angkor Wat are nearly 72° apart, along the circle's circumference (diagram below). It has been noted also that Angkor Wat is located 72° of longitude east of the Pyramids of Giza. Angkor is related to the ancient Egyptian Anhk-Hor, meaning "Long live Horus."

Point A represents the Angkor Wat complex of 72 shrines.
G represents the Great Pyramid of Egypt.

Point I represents Har-Appa in the Indus valley. Har-Appa means "Horus is Father."

Point M is the pyramid at Machupicchu with 72 steps. Point E is Easter Island.

The number 72 also represents deified rulers, or Horim. In Exodus Moses and Joshua appointed 70 elders to serve with them. In the Qur'an there are 72 Houris. These are not full-breasted virgins to be enjoyed by martyrs in the afterlife. In a note to his fellow hijackers, September 11 ringleader Muhammad Atta reminded them of their impending "marriage in Paradise" to the 72 virgins or Houris. Islamic extremists refer to suicide bombing as a "wedding to the black-eyed in eternal Paradise." However, the shock of Atta's afterlife will be to discover that the 72 Houris are, as Arabic scholar Dr. Maher Hathout argues "beings of distinction."

Walls of Eredo in Nigeria
The walls of Eredo are about 72 feet high and run a length of about 100 miles, making this Africa's largest monument. The British archaeologist Patrick Darling is credited with drawing world attention to the discovery of the Eredo system of walls. He reports, "We are not linking what we found to a city, but to a vast kingdom boundary rampart."
The New Temple described in Revelation 21:17 has walls that are 72 yards high (144 cubits).

Tomb Building and Mining

In the ancient world the people who were experts in mining operations were also responsible for building excavated tombs and pyramids such as those found in Bosnia and the Tarum Valley of China. This continued to the time of Jesus. Joseph of Ar-Mathea was a mining expert who had business and probably family in Cornwall, England. He was also a tomb builder. Jesus' body was laid to rest in Joseph's own tomb. This would have been a tomb fitting for a ruler-priest. Joseph was a member of the Sanhedrin.

Ancient African Astronomers

Priest-astronomer Taitai, 18th Dynasty ~1380 B.C.

By 4245 BC, the priests of the Upper Nile had already established a calendar based on the appearance of the star Sirius that becomes visible to the naked eye once every 1,461 years. Apparently, Nilotes had been tracking this star and connecting it to seasonal changes and agriculture for thousands of years. This is verified by the Priest Manetho who reported in his history (241 BC) that Nilotic Africans had been “star-gazing” as early as 40,000 years ago. Plato, who studied in Egypt, claimed that the Africans had been tracking the heavens for 10,000 years.

Material evidence continues to turn up in Africa indicating sophisticated astronomy among the Africans who lived in the time of Cain, Noah and Nimrod. There are ancient astronomical monuments in southern Africa and in the Sudan. Here is a report on a discovery in the Sahara Desert of an ancient ceremonial center and possibly the oldest known sculpture in Egypt.

Professor Fred Wendorf of Southern Methodist University led the NSF-supported team of archaeologists who explored the Nabta Playa in southern Egypt. The Nabta Playa, located near the Tropic of Cancer, is a kidney-shaped depression left by a seasonal lake that existed, on and off, for 6,000 years--from 11,000 years ago until about 4,800 years ago. "The Nabta area is full of prehistoric sites because of the presence of the lake there," explains Wendorf. "This is a region drier than Death Valley. Wherever and whenever there was water, people were going to be there."

Archaeologists uncovered a number of fascinating remains in the Nabta Playa, including an alignment of sandstone slabs, clay-lined tombs containing cattle, and an ancient "calendar"--a circle of sandstone slabs containing pairs of stones that aligned with sunrise on the summer solstice. The existence of the calendar circle, in particular, points to a society that understood, and in fact measured, astronomical phenomena.

In addition, a shaped stone from one of these complexes may be the oldest known sculpture in Egypt, according to Professor Wendorf.

Ancient seasonal lakes such as the Nabta Playa were formed by summer monsoons, whose shifting presence brought "wet phases," or periods of annual rainfall to regions that were otherwise arid. The lakes contained water only after summer rains, when water would come from large surrounding areas and drain into the basin.

It was during the last of these "wet phases" that the megaliths in Nabta Playa were constructed. The only complication for archaeologists: The wet phase lasted nearly 2,000 years. "We don't know for sure if these structures are contemporary," says Wendorf. "They may have been built all at one time, they may not. Some single structures may represent activity spanning more than a thousand years."

Regardless of the exact date of origin, these discoveries have led scientists to postulate that Nabta was a regional ceremonial center, a lakefront ritual ground where people from the wide surrounding area gathered to affirm their social and political solidarity. This center is the only one of its kind in the Egyptian and Sudanese Sahara, as well as being the oldest known ceremonial phenomenon in Africa.

Wendorf was joined in his work by scientists from the University of Colorado, the Geological Survey of Egypt, and the Polish Academy of Sciences--a group aptly named the Combined Prehistoric Expedition. To continue what they describe as ongoing archaeological research into the emergence of social complexity in the Eastern Sahara, the Combined Prehistoric Expedition will spend one more NSF-funded season exploring the Nabta Playa.

Seven Planets, Seven Bowls

Alice C. Linsley

The Milky Way seen through the pillars of the Temple at Karnak.

For many ancient populations of the Fertile Crescent, the Sun was the symbol of the High God, and it was venerated much as Christians venerate the Cross of Jesus Christ. Priests and rulers concerned themselves with the movement of the Sun, the Moon and the planets because it was their responsibility to fix the dates for feasts and fasts and because they believed that the pattern for right living on earth was found in the God-established pattern found in the heavens. [1]

This makes sense when you consider that the Sun is the single entity visible in creation that speaks adequately of the Creator's divine nature, eternal power, faithfulness, and omnipresence. The apparent disappearance and return of the Sun's brilliance during a solar eclipse speaks of the conquest of Light over Darkness. A solar eclipse begins with light and ends with light. Between, there is darkness, and the darkness is overcome by the Light.

By watching the heavens ancient man was able to better understand his place on earth since the stars and the planets move relative to one another in a fixed and stable pattern. There are seven visible planets and stars, although all were called "stars" by the ancients. These were perceived as urns or bowls from which God poured forth both blessings and curses. In Revelation 16, the angels are instructed to go and pour out the seven bowls of the indignation of God.

According to Heraklitus of Ephesus [2] these bowls carried the stars and other celestial bodies. Heraklitus explained the diurnal motion of the fixed stars as they revolved around a point above the north pole, and the apparent motions of the sun, the moon and planets.

In the temple dedicated to the Sun in Upper Egypt, at the ruins of Babian, there were seven urns. These represented the seven visible planets. The urns caught blessings from heaven in the form of rain. The six urns at the wedding in Cana, where Jesus Christ turned water to wine, speak of what is to be fulfilled in Jesus at the Cross and Empty Tomb. He who went down also ascended to the heights, taking captives and giving gifts to mankind (Ephesians 4:9,10). [3] Perhaps this is what Heraklitus meant when we wrote that "the path up and down is one and the same."

This Afro-Asiatic perception of the seven bowls of heavenly blessings is evident in the Hindu wedding ceremony during which the new bride takes seven steps around the altar. The Agharias marriage ceremony (Orissa, India) begins with the bride’s father delivering a bracelet (as did Abraham's servant to Rebekah) and seven small earthen bowls to the bride. The bride is seated in the open, and seven women hold the bowls over her head one above the other. Water is then poured from one bowl into the other, each being filled in turn and the whole finally falling on the bride's head. The bowls represent the blessing of fecundity on the bride’s womb. Pouring the water from above represents the heavenly blessing by which God overcame the demonic forces that withheld water inhibiting life on earth. The bride is then bathed and carried in a basket seven times round the marriage-post, after which she is seated in a chair and seven women place their heads together round her while a male relative winds a thread seven times round the heads of the women.

Though many churches baptize by immersion, use of a bowl to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit is consistent with this ancient practice of blessing.

In Jewish weddings the seven marriage blessings (Sheva Brachot) are recited under the huppah and the wedding feast lasts seven days. Seven days was the duration of the wedding feast for Samson (Judges 14:12) and for Queen Vashti (Esther 1:5-11).

The significance of the number seven in reference to union or completion is seen in the first Genesis creation story which says that God rested from all His work on the seventh day. Seven in association with God at rest portrays the concept of a peaceful relationship between Master and Servant, between Heaven and Earth, between Creator and Creation, and between Husband and Bride. Seven in reference to the Sun's coming forth as a bridegroom speaks of the eighth day in which the Great Wedding Banquet is consummated.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork...Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.  (Psalm 19:1-6)

Bowls in the Ancient World

Bowls were used both to bless and to curse.  In the ancient Afro-Asiatic world, both were done by priests because they alone knew the words of power. Blessing and cursing were seen as binary opposites. To be blessed was to be under divine protection and to be cursed was to be removed from divine protection.  This is the meaning of the twin mountains of Gerizim and Ebal. From Gerizim came declaration of divine protection for those who follow the path of righteousness. The opposite was declared from Ebal (Deut. 11:26-30).

Shown is a cursing bowl. The curse is inscribed inside the bowl and the one invoking the curse would pour water from that bowl on the cursed person or on their property.  Presumably the worst curse would involve seven bowls or the pouring of water seven times. This bowl dates to about 3000 B.C. and was found in Egypt.

In the use of bowls for opposite purposes, we again find an example of the binary worldview of Abraham's people. John H. Walton has noted, "Blessing and curse are common terms in Genesis from the initial blessing in Genesis 1 to the curses of Genesis 3, 4 and 9, and then to the juxtaposition of curse and blessing in Genesis 12:1-3."  This helps us to understand what is meant in Genesis 12:3, where God says to Abraham: "The one who curses you, I will curse", which is to say that God will remove from his protection and favor from the one who invokes words against Abraham's seed.

Daniel's rejection of the "new" cosmology

Antiochus IV (the "little horn" of Daniel 8) attempted to stamp out knowledge of the diurnal rotation of the earth by imposing geocentric corruptions and insertions in the Hebrew scriptures. Daniel presents him as the little horn reaching to the sky to cast down stars and trample on them. He sought to eliminate the "daily", which can refer only to the Sun (Dan. 8:10).

The Hebrew doesn't say daily sacrifice. The word sacrifice was added by later interpreters who missed the significance of this passage. Antiochus IV opposed the older solar cosmology of Abraham's people which emphasized God's daily oversight and promise of union. We gain a better understanding of the cosmological references in Scripture by looking at the larger Afro-Asiatic context of the Bible.

NOTES

1. Eupolemus in Eusebius ascribed the origin of astronomy to Enoch. Enoch is a royal and priestly title.

2. Heraklitus, a pre-Socratic philosopher, understood binary opposites as being unified by the Logos. He stated that "all things come to be in accordance with this Logos." In this belief, he appears to have been influenced by the astronomy of the early Nilotic priests, who (according to Plato) had been keeping astronomical records for 10,000 years. Diogenes Laertius wrote of Heraklitus [ix, 9-10] He does not reveal the nature of the surrounding; it contains, however, bowls turned with their hollow side towards us, in which the bright exhalations are collected and form flames, which are the heavenly bodies. Brightest and hottest is the flame of the sun ... And sun and moon are eclipsed when the bowls turn upwards; and the monthly phases of the moon occur as a bowl is gradually turned. (See Plato's Debt to Ancient Egypt.)

3. This is suggested by the diurnal motion of the stars around the north and south celestial poles. Earth's Great Year begins when the north-south polar axis is exactly perpendicular to the equatorial axis. This happens about every 25-28,000 years. In other words, earth's New Year begins with the erect Cross, the sign of Jesus Christ.

The Celestial Dance Observed by the Magi

Alice C. Linsley

Rick Larson spent over eight years researching the Star of Bethlehem and discovered the difference between sidereal astronomy and astrology. Sidereal astronomy is real science, based on observation of the arrangement and movement of the fixed stars and planets. This science originated among Abraham's Nilo-Saharan ancestors who had recorded information about the fixed stars and clock-like motion of the planets and constellations for thousands of years. They shared this knowledge with the kings of Egypt.

For the ancient Egyptians the stars in the constellation of Leo were especially important because the Nile rose when the Sun passed through the constellation of Leo. Therefore, the Lion and the rising strength of the water were associated.

The Magi were sidereal astronomers who lived east of Israel, probably in Babylon. They were heirs of the same astronomical knowledge as the ancient Egyptians because they were from Judah, like Daniel and the other men of Judah (Jews) who served as advisers to King Nebuchadnezzar.

They clearly were aware of God's promise concerning a King whose kingdom shall endure through all the ages (the Messianic Psalm 145:13, which is found repeatedly in Daniel, punctuates the theme of the rise and fall of kingdoms). These astronomers from the East recognized the singular event of Jupiter's triple spiral that brought it in close proximity to Regulus. The Babylonians called Regulus 'Sharu', which means 'king.' The Persian (Farsi) word shir means lion (leo).

Using Starry Night, a soft ware program that can track celestial events at any time in history, Larson discovered that Jupiter, the Planet of Kings met Regulus, the Star of Kings at the beginning of the Jewish New Year in the year 3 BC. The conjunction produced the appearance of a single extraordinarily bright star. Larson believes that this is when the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she was chosen to bear Messiah.

Larson explains, "In 3/2 BC, Jupiter's retrograde wandering would have called for our magus' full attention. After Jupiter and Regulus had their kingly encounter, Jupiter continued on its path through the star field. But then it entered retrograde. It 'changed its mind' and headed back to Regulus for a second conjunction. After this second pass it reversed course again for yet a third rendezvous with Regulus, a triple conjunction. A triple pass like this is more rare. Over a period of months, our watching magus would have seen the Planet of Kings dance out a halo above the Star of Kings. A coronation."

We know from the number symbolism of the Afro-Asiatic peoples that the number 3 associated with a King means universal shalom. This message of peace corresponds to the angels' proclamation to the shepherds tending their flocks outside Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth.

If you haven't watched Rick Larson's Star of Bethlehem DVD, I encourage you to do so. You can order the Star of Bethlehem DVD here: http://www.bethlehemstar.net

The plurality of stars, planets and constellations speaks of the immeasurable nature of the universe, yet all are the work on the Ancient of Days, who alone is God, dwelling in light. The unique celestial events that surround the Annunciation, Nativity and Visitation of the Magi (the first Christmas) confirm that God set the universe's clock from before time. The orderliness of the heavens was such that the astronomers of old, whose work it was to observe the heavens, could not have missed the conjunction of Jupiter and Regulus and the emergence of Virgo, the Virgin, with the sun at her head and the moon at her feet.

As Vern Poythress has said, "So, at the very beginning of arithmetic, we are already plunged into the metaphysical problem of unity and plurality, of the one and the many. As Van Til and Rushdoony have pointed out, this problem finds its solution only in the doctrine of the ontological Trinity."
